If you're reading this you're probably a friend or family member of mine, or you have taken an interest in my music, in which case, consider yourself one of both. As I searched for some vehicle to reach out across the vast planes of cyberspace and facilitate an encounter that was less generic then pictures on facebook, less brief then a tweet of twitter, and less pre-packaged then a YouTube video (all of which I keep up with in due frequency), I came to the likely conclusion of a blog. Not to mention, both my sister and grandfather have setup their own blogs, much to my amusement.
I want to grant anyone willing to listen the ability to follow me on my journey. When I moved to Tennessee, I left behind many great members of my tribe, and I miss them all very dearly. Yes, the path we follow often takes unexpected twists and turns, but we should never forget where we came from. In the coming weeks, I hope to share what I've learned about songwriting, lifestyle, job-searching, and finding my place in the world. I'll share as much as I can, and open myself up to comments and criticism, come what may.
